Question for our services

To keep your HVAC system running in tip-top shape, we recommend a maintenance appointment twice a year (once for heat, once for air conditioning). This way, an Alpha Air technician can check your filters, coils, wiring, housing, motor, and more to make sure you’re getting the most out of your system.

Don’t worry! Whether your problem happens at three in the morning or on the 4th of July, our HVAC service experts are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get your system back up and running. Just call 702-969-0000

At Alpha Air, most of our HVAC systems come with a 1-year warranty, so you can enjoy your system for years to come. We also have great maintenance plans to help you lower your utility bills and extend the life of your equipment.

To answer that, you’ll need an appointment with one of our HVAC service experts. We’ll come to your home and evaluate its size, heating and cooling needs, environment, and the work we’ll need to do. Then, we can recommend the best system for you and install it quickly.

If your HVAC system requires constant repairs, is 15 years or older, or can’t heat or cool your home properly, we recommend you replace it. When an HVAC system ages, it doesn’t operate as efficiently and could actually end up costing you more money than it should.

When looking for the perfect company, ask your friends and family members for recommendations. Then, make sure the company has the proper license and insurance. After that, get a written estimate for the work they’re going to do (a good company should have no problem giving you a written estimate).

Question about AC

A heat pump is a type of mechanical innovation used for the heating and cooling of residential and commercial spaces. A heat pump transfers air from one room to another using a fan, a condenser unit, and coils which house a refrigerant. During the warm summer months, the heat pump takes hot air from inside the home and moves it outside. During the cold winter months, the heat pump takes hot air from outside the home and moves it inside. A heat pump is also used in refrigeration systems to keep food cold, just on a smaller scale.

It depends on a few factors such as how much dust you are noticing in your home, and if you’ve had any recent renovations in your home which may have caused a buildup of dust and debris in your HVAC filter. To get an accurate diagnosis, contact Alpha Air and schedule a diagnostic walkthrough of your home. This short visit will allow your HVAC specialist to determine if your HVAC filters need changing or cleaning, and if any other parts of your HVAC system need attention or repair.

HVAC is an abbreviation that stands for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. An HVAC specialist’s job involves the installation, repair and maintenance of a commercial or residential HVAC system such as an air conditioner, heater or refrigerator.

Depending on your usage, care and maintenance of your air conditioner, the average unit is known to last around 16 years. You can always make your unit last longer by performing regular inspections and ensuring all parts and pieces are clean and in good working condition.

With the proper installation, maintenance, and care, a home furnace can last approximately up to 20 years. Similarly as with an air conditioner, a furnace can be made to last longer with regular inspections and extra care.

Factors to consider in choosing the right HVAC system:

  • Your budget
  • Your climate
  • How many rooms you need heated or cooled
  • If you enjoy using an air conditioner versus a fan
  • If you have space for air ducts
  • If you have allergies or sensitivities to dust
